Congratulations
Keith Chilvers and his team weareleeds who
were last season's winner's with ascore of . In the most one sided season ever Keith led from early November until the
end of the season, only once being deposed from top spot by Jean Simon Carter and Gers 4 Lifes who finished second and threatened to win the league twice knocking Keith off top spot.
The
first few weeks the season saw the leadership change almost
on a weekly basis. By the time the transfer window
opened long time leader Jon Beattie Snokkeroo's who had lead the leage for most of the first half of the season had ran in to an injury crisis with 4 of his team ruled out for the season.
Wise
dealings during the Transfer window saw Keith and Simontake charge with at one time a lead of 73 points betweek second and third place. As the season went on three teams emerged to challenge him, Jim Fosters GMen Gary Browns Strachans Tartan Army and Allan Barretts Gary Woodland FCteams started to eat away Keiths lead but it was still not enough.
Towards the end of the season there were many teams scoring heavily including Chris Pattisons Laughing Cavaliers who had he used his transfer could have pipped Keith to the title. And Craig Mendum's Chippa is god team who threatend to catch the leaders being the top points scorer over the last two weeks of the season. |
