Congratulations James Metcalfe and his Team I score Goals who were last season's winner's. In the most one sided second half of a season ever season ever James led from early January until the end to win by 49 points.

The first few weeks the season saw the leadership change almost on a weekly basis. By the time the transfer window opened Daniell Murray had a lead of 12 points over Sam Roberts team 1/2lb donner Burger.

Wise buys during the Transfer window saw the top half of the table change dramatically with the biggest mover being Steve Oliver and his team Ollies Select XI, his singning of Ronaldo catapulted him and in to the top ten, up the table on to the leader board. James Metcalfe went top in early january and at one point had a seemingly unbeatable lead of seventy one points.

Towards the end of the season his lead was getting gradually cut back and Sam Roberts closed to within seven points on James at one point but a late spurt saw him winning the league by 39 points, and finishing with 999 points, the second highest total since Geoff's Fantasy League commenced in 2004.

The Transfer Window:

The Transfer Window will be open at 12 pm on the 1st January 2009 to the 31st January 2009. During this time you will be able to make one transfer. You will lose all of the points of the player you sell and gain all the points of the player you buy. You will be given £10Million plus the value of the player you sell to sign another player. You can only buy a player from the same position, i.e. if you sell a goalkeeper you can only buy a goalkeeper.
